I remember when the news broke out about the first batch of FunkO’s cereal coming out. There were only four contenders, Elvira Mistress of the Dark, Freddy Krueger, Cuphead and Beetlejuice.
Now, FunkO’s has grown with more characters and colored cereal concepts that are sure to dye your milk a funky color!
But let’s be real. The cereal may not taste great, but the beauty of buying these products are to add them to your Funko collection.
Here are our favorites.
The Golden Girls
We just can’t get enough of our favorite gal pals, and any product with them on it is a win in my book. Plus, you get to keep a Rose Pocket Pop! The Golden Girls FunkO’s were a limited edition so any boxes you find for sale on the internet are pricey. This bad gal goes for $55 on Amazon, and even higher on other toy sites!
The Batman FunkO’s pays homage to the 1966 comics. With that, the blue colored cereal coordinates well with his mask, cape, and gloves. Can’t go wrong with vintage icons!
This product is an Entertainment Exclusive but can be found on Amazon. There’s a limited supply so if you want this, hurry!
We can’t acknowledge Batman without acknowledging his counterpart. Barbara Gordon, AKA Batgirl has her own FunkO’s. The pretty purple cereal is cool but I think the box itself is awesome! It gives that retro feel of the comics and I think its a cool item to display.
Diana of Themyscira, Queen of the Amazon, is now a teeny tiny pocket Funko inside a box of cereal. It’s the perfect item for any Wonder Woman fan. The Pocket Pop in this cereal box is a tiny replica of the Justice League version of Wonder Woman.
Your bowl may not be filled with snack pellets and “power cookies” that allow you to eat ghosts, BUT this box of cereal is great for anyone into retro video games.
I enjoy this item because, again, the retro feel of the box, but also the fact that it acknowledges the OG Pac-Man, you know, the one with arms and legs.
I love everything about this item from the box, to the green colored cereal, to the Beetlejuice Pocket Pop. A+!
The NEW Pennywise is scary AF but I like that FunkO’s cereal makes him cute. I think the bright colors of the box and cereal color make it more exciting than frigthening.
Tommy Pickles on a cereal box AND as a cereal toy? YES, PLEASE! The 90s nostalgia is real here. Although this cereal color isn’t fun like the rest, Tommy Pickles will always have a place in my heart.
Elvira Mistress of the Dark
This box of cereal is amazing. The Mistress of the Dark is appropriately captured in the theme. The blacked out box and red font is perfect, and the jet black cereal looks incredible.
Another classic box of FunkO’s, another frightening yet cute character. One of the four characters in the original release of the cereal.
